Jewish Coffe Cake

Cake Batter:

-1/2 cup butter
-1 cup sugar
-1 cup sour cream
-2 cups flour
-2 eggs
-1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
-1/2 tsp. cream of tarter
-1 tsp. vanilla
-1/4 tsp. salt

Topping:

-1/4 cup white sugar
-1 tsp. cinnamon
-1/2 chopped nuts or
chocolate chips
(if desired)

Directions:


Add cream butter and sugar. Add eggs
1 at a time. Meanwhile, combine flour, soda,
cream of tarter, and salt. Alternately add a
spoonful of sour cream and a spoonful of flour
mix to the batter. Mix well and scrape bottom
of bowl.

Pour half of batter into pan. Sprinkle

half of the topping over batter. And chocolate chips
or nuts if desired.



Pour in the rest of batter, then

topping and more chocolate chips (or nuts).



Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray pan.
Cook for 40 minutes. Let cool for
10 minutes before eating. Enjoy! =]
