Drying Rosemary

Last night, I was gifted with several spragues of rosemary, one of the four herbs in the song Scarborogh Fair.

At Ask Jeeves I typed: how to dry rosemary. The first non-advertisement site, How to Dry Herbs, recommends hanging long-stemmed herbs upside down and out of sunlight for 1-2 weeks. The family with whom I am living has their rosemary cut up and drying on cookie sheet.
Experiment time! Which drying method will yield the most flavorful dried rosemary?
